Dawa Thompson

I studied film in the States before landing at an ad agency in Lagos. Red Bull asked me to quit my job to help them make cool work in West Africa. I said yes. That was the beginning of Dawasuya worldwide. While I was doing cool Red Bull stuff, a director friend asked me to help him make some music videos. I said yes again.

Fast forward ten years and hundreds of projects later; I aspire to help make the most ambitious films, documentaries, commercials, music videos, fashion and art projects showcasing the continent. I love to work with the best crews, creatives, directors, agencies and brands that care about telling stories and pushing the boundaries of art through production everywhere from Lagos, Nairobi, Accra, Dakar, Zanzibar and beyond.
